Lesli has been married to Joe for 25 years! She is the mom of five and grandma of four! She absolutely loves chickens! She says, “I am THAT chicken lady!” Lesli works full-time outside the home, but enjoys pets and wildlife on their small family acreage.

Lesli’s favorite parts of YMA are plentiful! She enjoys seeing the impact that it makes on children, teens and adults to help make them understand they are loved, wanted and seen. This is a very important part of what we do in this group, it is the best feeling to see the “ah-ha” moments that are made. The involvement with the community. She feels that every little thing we do, whether it is giving a “happy basket” to someone that is ill or injured to Teen Night and Family Fest to let everyone gather and just “be”, this group truly does care and I hope it shows.

The monthly handouts! She LOVES to see all those smiling faces – or make the smiling faces if they aren’t smiling in the mornings as the school kids are walking in. She hopes our love and support makes the kids feel loved, seen and appreciated as much as they truly are. And of course the memory of Hunter living on. Hunter was a friend of Lesli’s son, which in turn makes her one of Hunter’s many “moms” as Kristie is one of her sons many “moms” (it takes a village). The memories Lesli shares with him will forever be in my heart and soul. This group helps keep his memory alive and saving even just one life is a dream come true.
